Rihanna was born in Barbados, she’s lived in New York City, Los Angeles, and London, and she’s traveled the globe in her career. It only makes sense for her to source ingredients inspired by the whole world—such as vitamin C-rich Barbados cherry—and combine them with clinically proven skincare ingredients—think hyaluronic acid and niacinamide.
DEFINING CLEAN
Motivated by a bad experience with a skincare product when she was younger, Rihanna knew she wanted Fenty Skin to be clean: This means no harsh ingredients. We’re also vegan and gluten free. We’re a global brand, and we follow the high standards of the European Union, which bans 1,400+ ingredients from cosmetics.

Rihanna creates every Fenty Skin product to be a complete sensorial experience, and that includes clean fragrances. We’re talking warm, delicious-smelling scents inspired by their globally sourced ingredients—think cherries and coconut, sun-kissed fig, fresh desert melon... Like all of our ingredients, our fragrances are clean, and any synthetic fragrance we use is less than 1 percent of the total formula.
All Fenty Skin products are also extensively tested for safety, and allergy, and undergo a third party safety review.
